The Breeding Association for Finnish Warmblood (FWB)
horses was established 1926 to develop a horse suitable for both
the army and sports. Today, the studbook is naturally concentrating
on meeting the demands of contemporary equestrian sports (jumping,
dressage, eventing, driving). The first ever World Singles Driving
Championship in 1998 was won by a FWB!
We breed young FWB-horses for dressage and jumping. Blueberryhill's
horses have top grade pedigrees, originating from Sweden and middle
Europe. We use top stallions like Casir Ask Elit (Cor de la Bryere),
Blue Horse Romanov (Rohdiamant), Quite Easy (Quidam de Revel), Don
Schufro Elit (Donnerhall), Voltaire (Furioso II), Ceylon (Jovial),
Carano Elit, Trofe(Indus), and Master Elit (Ceylon).
Our goal in breeding is to attain a high quality in terms of conformation,
gait, trainability, and rideability in both dressage and jumping
horses.
All three of our diploma-mares have been awarded prizes for their
conformation and offspring.
The stallions have been very carefully selected aiming to combine
the best conformation, gaits, trainability, rideability, and performance.
We started to breed horses in 2000 and the first foals were born
in 2001.
